2017 Residential Resistance Rebates

The POWER MOVES rebate program brought to you by Boone REMC and Wabash Valley Power, offers rebates for upgrading resistance electric heating systems (electric furnaces, baseboard heaters, ceiling cable heat), by replacing those systems with heat pumps. This program also provides rebates for new heat pumps and heat pump water heaters.

SPLIT SYSTEM with electric backup - SEER ≥ 15, HSPF ≥ 8.5 Electric back up (no gas or propane)

PACKAGED system with electric backup - SEER ≥ 14, HSPF ≥ 8.0 Electric back up (no gas or propane)

Heat Pump Water Heater Info

EF ≥ 2.0 and replacing an electric tank or installed in a new home.

Purchase must be a high-efficiency electric heat pump water heater with an energy factor (EF) of ≥ 2.0. The existing replaced water heater must be an electric tank water heater. AHRI certificate showing EF is required to be included with this application.
